My Mommy, My Teacher

My Mommy, My Teacher
by Johanna Bluedorn

This delightful book will bring a smile to your daughter's face. Written from the perspective of a little 7-year-old girl who is in a Classical homeschooling family, she shares in simple terms how they live their everyday lives. Kathrynne and I have enjoyed reading it together many times. Even though it is a children's book, I found it very enjoyable and motivational to hear how this Christian family lives, works, prays, plays, and stays together. In an age when wholesome children's reading material is very hard to find, My Mommy, My Teacher stands apart. I highly recommend this for anyone with young daughters.

Have you seen Johanna Bluedorn's book "The Lord builds the house"? This is Psalm 127 illustrated for children. We love this book and my youngest learnt the Psalm from this. I brought several for friends but sadly have to buy them in from the US. I don't think anyone stocks them here in the UK.
The website shows a new book on Psalm 103 which I'm hoping to order soon.

I love her books! She is so talented... do you have the book From Dark To Dawn? It's about the Reformation and Martin Luther, she illustrated that too. :D

I've never heard of this particular book of hers, I'll ask my mother if she can find it.
