Welcome to My Kitchen
People have been asking to see pictures of our home. I'd share some, but I'm afraid everyone would be a little disappointed. You see, I'm an extremely practical person and I like the color of white. I like pretty things, but I prefer a practical, clean, uncluttered look most of all. To give you an idea of what the rest of our home looks like, welcome to my kitchen...

Crystal, I for one love your "little" house and appreciate the peacefulness of it. Remember when we were talking about being able to plug in the vacume and run it through the whole house!!!! hee hee! Our current house is almost 3000 sq. ft. We are selling it and moving into a lot smaller home and I am SOOOOOOOOOOO glad and thankful! You should see all the junk we are tossing! My husband is even throwing stuff away collected over 23 years!!!! whoo hoo!
My daughter and I have decided that big houses are nice IF you have a staff to run them! :-) Otherwise, just give me a nice little cozy home with a fireplace and lots of love within. :-)
I like it simple too, and that's easy to do to when you are our age and just starting out in life.
Nothing wrong with simple! :)
Maybe you should do the 'my house' posts here like Candy did for modest dresses...may be fun!?
Thanks for posting this picture! I love clear counters :) Mine are usually cleared, and so having things on them really annoys me! Sometimes I think a dishwasher would be nice simply so there would never be any dirty dishes out between washings! :)
For being a small kitchen, it looks like you have a decent amount of cupboards! That's nice :D You should give us a tour of the rest of your house, too! :D
Such a pretty kitchen! That's something like I want my kitchen to look like in the future! :)
Oh my!!! You'd die if you saw my clutter! My Bosch, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, cannisters, dishes (on an open shelf) and fruits and vegetables all sit out on my cabinets. Oh, and a huge crock with all my large utensils.
I too like to have a very "spartan" look in my house, especially in the main living areas. I am losing the battle though in the school and library rooms. Most fortunate that we can close doors. :o)
can we please see photos of the rest of the house??? your piciure of the kitchen is just a teaser!!!!

The floor plan is almost exactly as one of the kitchens I have had! I really do like galley kitchens, they are much nicer to work in than a larger kitchen! You don't have to walk around as much! =)
your kitchen is nice and simple! I like the look a lot.

My kitchen lives between the two extremes...I think it would be a more "clutter free" if I could keep my husband out of it, but it's a fruitless exercise!
Could someone point me toward Candy's blog? I'd love to see more modest dresses...always looking for more ideas.
Great blog, Crystal. God Bless!
