This was a really great article and explained the Christian perspective very well. I especially liked how she said the Bible outlined the ways women should be treated. They are not to be misused at all. I have always thought this. I always thought it was so funny that a lot of woman's libbers proclaim that they are proud to be women but they shun feminine things. They make fun of women in heels and moms and the fifties when women looked and acted like women. If you watch any of the TV shows they always jest about this. Gilmore Girls anyone? Judging Amy. These are popular shows that poke fun at Mrs Cleever and Donna Reed and Christianity all the time. All you have to do is watch about 10 mins of an episode. It is so obvious what there agenda is, it is ridiculous.Any way, it was refreshing to see someone with a clear, logical argument from a Christian perspective. -Zan
I actually really enjoyed the article, too. Her descriptions of the various waves of feminism are very well done; I don't agree with the negativity she attaches to each, but it's her opinion. :) She's a very talented writer, and obviously feels valued in her life, which is all I want for all women. Thanks for linking to the piece.
And Zan-- I love my heels! I don't leave home without them. :)
