Our Little Princess

We took Kathrynne out shopping a few days ago to buy her some warmer clothes and her first pair of shoes. She had fun modeling one of her new "big girl" outfits. She's such a joy.

Awww... she's such a doll! I agree with Ash, she does look tall. Is she already walking as well as standing? :)

Alice: She's not walking without holding on to things. She likes to hold on with one hand and walk around things. I'm not sure how much longer it will be until she is walking all by herself. We have so much fun with her!

Crystal...

She's adorable!! What a beautiful smile! =)

I have a question for you that I've been wondering about ever since you started posting pictures of your precious little one...I sincerely hope that this doesn't come accross as accusatory because I don't mean it in that way AT ALL...I'm just curious! =) So what I'm wondering is...do you not always dress Kathrynne in dresses and skirts then? Judging by the fact that she's wearing overalls in the picture...I would assume not! =) I know that you strive to dress femininely all the time and that's wonderful, I'm just curious how you pass that onto your daughter. Though it's a little premature because I'm not even married yet...I've been thinking about the whole dressing femininely (i.e. dresses and skirts) thing for little girls and how to go about that while still keeping them modest. So anyway....your take on that would be great! =)

Oh, and since we're on the subject...did you ever post any "A Week in Feminine Dress" pictures for you? I'm pretty sure that I saw links here for other women who were inspired by that LAF article, but I couldn't remember if you were going to do that too! =) But anyway...! =)

And by the way, I don't know if you remember, but this is Lily-of-the-Valley from YWAIC...though I guess now I'm Saoirse_lily! =)

Thanks for blogging!

My! How big she is getting! Does that mean she is walking now? =) Thanks for sharing.

Saoirse_lily,

I'm so not Crystal (and forgive me Crystal, if I'm intruding :-) ), but it's entirely possible to dress modestly and femininely in pants. :-)

My boys wouldn't be caught dead in the pink stripes, flowery overalls, and frilly shoelaces (which are SO CUTE, BTW!!!). ;-)
