One Thing
This morning in my Daily Light I read,
There is only one thing I want to spend my life living for. One thing alone is worth seeking after. One thing only should be the desire of our hearts as Christians -- to love and serve the Lord and walk in holiness before Him.
Nothing else is worth living for. Everything else is "wood, hay, and stubble."
One thing have I desire of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life... (Psalm 27:4a)There are a lot of things that press into our life daily calling for our attention -- the family, the neighbors, the to-do list, the friends, the relatives, and yes, maybe even the dog. There are a lot of things to do and needs to be met. But, in all the hustle and bustle, let us not lose sight of the most important thing to be living for-- our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Yes!!! Thank-you for the reminder! I find that I have to constantly work on keeping my priorities straight!
