It's a happy day!
After posting about sacrifice and pouring out our lives for others, I'm almost embarrassed to post this, but do you know how good it feels to sleep seven hours straight?
Really good. Especially when it is the first time in almost eight weeks or so (I stopped counting because it wasn't helping anything!)!
Kathrynne had been sleeping a consistent seven hours or so every night from the time she was three or four months old to the time she was eight months old. Then she started teething and once she was over that, she's been sick for the last few weeks. Needless to say, she struggled to sleep any longer than 2-4 hour stretches during that time, day or night.
I'm one refreshed mama today. :) Add to that the fact that Jesse will be officially done with this semester this afternoon, and you have the makings of a very happy wife and mom!

Crystal,
I'm glad you were able to get a good stretch of sleep in last night. With two active little boys(so far), I know just how you feel!
You must be so thrilled that your husband is done with this semester!
Have a very blessed day!
I can relate to your delight on getting a good night's sleep, too! Sam didn't "sleep through the night" till he was close to 18 months; now he still only sleeps about 9 hours a night, with the occasional longer stretch thrown in. But suffice it to say I'm feeling much more rested now that he actually does (usually) sleep all night long! :)
I also wanted to say I enjoyed reading Kathrynne's birth story; thanks for sharing it! I got inspired by you and went and posted Sam's story on my pregnancy blog. Giving birth is just the most amazing experience! :)
I hear you on the teething thing. My two year old cannot sleep if he's teething... which seems to be every night! We regularly give him a half dose of advil to take the edge off (and let us sleep). His birthmom warned us that he'd not teethe well and she was RIGHT (fevers 102+, yucky noses, clinginess, etc).

Congratulations to you and Jesse!! I'm sure it will be great to have this semester finally completed!
Love from Texas...
Leah, Carrie, Laura, and Katie: Thanks for your kind words!
