Evangelism begins in the home

I believe that we are involved in the greatest evangelistic opportunity before the church today. I am talking about the salvation of millions of children under the evangelistic and discipleship ministry of fathers and mothers in the home. This is not the only mission field, but it is perhaps the most neglected mission field before the church in our day.

There are so many today who are strongly advocating evangelism. While I agree that we need to be evangelizing, I've seen so many evangelists seek to "evangelize the world" and lose their family in the process. I believe evangelism should begin in the home and work its way outward from there.

I couldn't agree more. Why can't the mainstream "Christian" community figure it out too???? Makes me frustrated.

Amen to that c.a. worcester! Soulwinning begins in the home, then the home can take it out to the rest of the world. :-)
