Guess what I did today?

I spent the majority of the waking hours caring for my two most precious treasures on this earth -- my husband and daughter -- who have caught the same miserable bug I had a few days ago. They both seem to have it worse than me, though, as their fevers hovered around 103-104 degrees most of today. I felt like I needed a clone in order to be able to care for them both properly! But, I'm glad to be able to serve them, especially to be able to serve Jesse. He spent so much time serving me for the past few days when I wasn't feeling well and I'm happy to be able to return the favor. He deserves to be treated like a king everyday, but especially today for how much he has bent over backwards for me this past week.

Kathrynne is finally asleep, which I am so glad for, as she hasn't gotten hardly any rest since early this morning due to being so miserable. Ah, the joys of being a wife and mother! Delighting in little things like seeing a baby finally fall into restful sleep after fighting it all day long.

Seeing your beloved family ill is truly one of the toughest parts of being a wife and mother.

Two of my family got sick with this same bug. One had it worse than the other. I just hope and pray the rest of us do not get the bug as we are leaving for Kentucky this weekend.

I hope this thing isn't contagious via blogging.lol

Hope you are all feeling better. Stomach flus are no fun, especially with babies.

Pray your family is feeling better soon! Glad you are feeling much better now, would be hard if you all were sick at the same time.
