My dh and I saw this movie. It was wonderful. HOwever we didn't know about Chad Allen's sin before going. I am not sure if knowledge about it would prevent us from going.
At least part of my money is going to the tribe down there. However I do not like the idea of boycotting the movie because of Chad Allen. That is letting them win. Chad Allen's part was minimal. He is not the movie. The tribe and the 5 men is what the movie is about.
Now I agree that the company wasn't thinking about this controversy over Chad Allen. I wish they did use somebody else. However I can't change that now.
Please just be careful in boycotting the movie. Remember half of the profits from the movie will go to the tribe.
With all of the talk about this movie I have been majorly disappopinted to see that no one ever talked abou the TV show The Book of Daniel.Check out NBC and you will see about the show.Anyway the show was on 2 times and thankfully with lots of emails,phone calls,prayer-it was CANCELLED.
Tammy, I thought about posting something here on The Book of Daniel but I didn't because I didn't hear of any Christians promoting it. I was very glad to hear that it was being pulled, though!
