"I Love to Make My Family Feel Special"

For the past five years, my family and I have either put little baskets outside our doors, or put a little paper plate pouch on our doors. For the past couple of years, we would pick the name of a family member, and then buy gifts that were 5 dollars or under for that person, and if we wanted to we could give things to the other members of our family as well.

I like what we did this year the best, though. We put baskets outside of our doors, and then bought gifts for every member of our family and secretly put the gifts in the week before Valentines day. I usually go to the dollar store to purchase my gifts, or make little home made gifts. On Valentines day, if we want we can give another gift or card, and we try and guess who gave each other what, before we tell them.

We also have a little party with a special dessert, that I make sometimes. I also watch my siblings for my parents so that they can either go out to dinner, or have a romantic dinner at home. I do not mind as much as I used to that I do not have a special someone yet, because I love to make my family feel special, and do what I can to make Valentines day special for them.
