How Our Business Began
Some of you already know most of these details, but for those who might be interested, our story of Biblical Womanhood beginning is featured on the PRMama blog today. It's rather lengthy (I've never been blessed with the gift of succinctness -- they were supposed to edit it but decided against it!) but I thought I'd mention it.

Encouraged by your site, I've started selling stuff on ebay.com. Right now it is just dresses, mostly bridesmaid's gowns worn a couple of times, but hopefully I'm gonna add more. If selling these dresses works out my dad wants me to put some antiques he has in storage up. Ebay.com isn't really a big deal to most people but I've never done anything like this in my life.
That's wonderful, Ash! I hope it does well for you. :) My first few tries on ebay weren't too successful, but I gradually got the hang of it. I wish I could do more selling there now but I just stick to my store with inventory in it instead of auctions.
Crystal: I am so proud of you. You have been a real inspiration to me. I am looking into some of your suggestions so we can make our dream come true to farm full-time. I believe finding your website information was a providental work of God. I have always looked at your blog but never looked at your site. *blush* After looking at your ideas, my head is spinning with ideas to help my husband come home. Thank you for your godly determination and willingness to share information. God has truly blessed you. It was really nice to read your story:)
Thanks for the link! It was great to read all the details of how your business got going (I'd always wondered just exactly how it happened), and the encouragement that it is possible! I've been looking into one idea for a home business, but it's a little overwhelming at the moment since my husband's construction business really needs to pick up first; not to mention, baby #3 coming in just over 2 months! :-D
Crystal...I've read your Biblical Womanhood beginning story before, but it was encouraging to read through it again! You have been a great encouragement to me!!
What is the name of the Christian publishing group that you found? Do they allow new members? Is that how to published your e-book, through them?
Thank you for your kindness and encouragement, everyone!
Amy: I self-published my ebooks. I have a link on my site which explains how I did that. Look under the articles section. The Christian Self-Publishing Group is a Yahoo group. You can search for them on Yahoo. They have been an invaluable resource and source of encouragement to me!
