Coupons

Does anyone on here get their weekly paper and not use the coupon inserts? If so, I'd be very interested in them as we don't currently get the paper so I have no source for coupons and am hoping to start using coupons again for grocery shopping.

I'd be glad to barter or pay for shipping. Email me if you are interested. Thanks so much!

Also, does anyone use online sources to obtain coupons? (Places where you can print coupons, etc.)

I was on ebay the other day and there are people that actually sell all the coupons. The prices were comparable with the price of a paper.

Hi Crystal,

Have you considered just subscribing to Sunday only delivery? Where I live, there is the option of subscribing once a week to get the coupons. They will deliver right to your door. It might be worth checking into.
Also, try coupons.com and smartsource.com. You can get free coupons there. Hope this helps!

I'd check first if your grocery store accepts coupons printed from the Internet. The ones around us will not, due to the problem with fabricated coupons, etc. They only allow the ones from the inserts of a newspaper.

I actually rarely use coupons as our store brand products are cheaper than regular brands bought with a coupon.

Subscribing to the Sunday paper might be as inexpensive as paying postage for someone to send you their coupons...I actually subscribe to two Sunday papers and purchase another at the store (I love Sunday papers, what can I say? grin) and they are paid for when I use just a coupon or two per paper. I save many times the cost of the papers due to the coupons, and we also get to enjoy the big opinion sections, color comics, etc. Good luck! Laura

Good Housekeeping online has coupons. Also, my online local newspaper has a coupons/ad section. Yours might as well.

It's too bad we couldn't start a coupon swap area on the blog. We could do a monthly mail exchange with our collected coupons. Maybe call it Crystal's Coupon Swap!

Our local grocery store does not accept home printed coupons! I LOVE using the Gerber coupons for baby things but I have to travel to Walmart (30+ minutes) in order to get the discounts.

If you have specific stores that you favor (supporting local economy is good), check to see if they take home printed coupons before wasting printer ink :-)

I dig through the recycle bins at the grocery store. Free coupons, all you want! Nobody has ever stopped me.

Both our local library and our local grocery store have baskets where folks can drop off coupons for others to take. They're always full whenever I check. Maybe you could see if yours has the same.

I don't use coupons that much as I don't usually either the things I have coupons for or that brand. But I have gotten some good things with coupons.
One great way to get coupons is the join a coupon train. I got more than I knew what to do with! If you email me I will give you the info on how to join.

Hi, I just happened upon your site because of your freedom in dependence entry and saw your coupon deal. I was told about this great site www.grocerygame.com. If you already use coupons this site is great. It tracks your store's sales and tells you when to maximize you your savings with coupons. It is a dollar a week but me and my family save over $40 each time I grocery shop and some friends have saved more than that. I would encourage any coupon clipper to check it out.
