SuperMom Vitamins

I've had a lot of inquiries about the SuperMom vitamins I mentioned I'd purchased awhile back. I wanted to wait to comment on them until I'd taken them for a sufficient time to be able to give honest feedback based upon personal experience.

It's been almost a month since I started taking them and though I have not had any burst of tremendous, incredible, superhuman energy, I have noticed that my overall well-being and stamina has been improved. This might be in part due to the fact that I had not taken vitamins for close to a year, so my body probably has welcomed the extra nutrition with open arms!

At any rate, I would recommend SuperMom Vitamins as I feel they were worth the price and I plan to continue buying them after my 3-month supply runs out. One side note: the pills are HUGE (at least by my definition) and probably not something I could stomach during pregnancy since they are so large. If you have any trouble swallowing pills, you might not want to buy these since you probably would have to chop them up to get them down. :) Aside from that, I really do think these pills have been helpful for me. Now, if I could eat better and be more faithful at getting proper rest and exercise, I'd probably feel really good. Too bad I can't just take some "Exercise Pills" or "Rest Pills." Wouldn't that be nice?!

New Little Blessing has started selling them, so you purchase it from them if you are interested in buying them and help support another wonderful business!

You can get NOW FOODS Special Two Multi Vitamins 180 Tabs (best value - 90 day supply) at www.bodybuilding.com for $17.89 a bottle. Their shipping is also $5.99 no matter how much stuff you get. I compared the ingredients to SuperMom Tabs, and they're 100% the same.

I did a little research online and the ingredients are the exact same as in the NowFoods Special Two vitamins, which I was able to find at www.wholesalesupplementstore.com, for $19.79/180 tablets. Not sure what their shipping price is like, though. I haven't ordered any yet, but hope to soon!
Just some extra links for those of you who like to do your research and get the best prices. I always do my best to try and help you be frugal and wise stewards of your resources!

If any of you have started taking these and want to share your own experience -- good or bad -- be sure to speak up. I always like to hear from as many different sources before I make a purchase, so please do share.

My husband and I have been taking the SuperMom Vitamins for about 3 weeks now. Like you, I haven't noticed a huge burst of energy, but I, too, have more stamina. My husband said that he feels more energetic (he's a fulltime firefighter), and that's a plus! We had been taking a multi-vitamin from our local health food store, but the SuperMom Vitamins seem to pack more 'punch'. We like them!

I've been taking "Special Two" for a long time. They are safe for pregnant women and especially beneficial for people whose immune systems need help.

I'm sure the "Supermom" vitamins are just as good.

What I like about "Special Two" is the combination of spirulina, chlorella, and b-vitamins.

My personal experience has been one of a restoration of tissue integrity (stomach, intestine, mouth) and increased immunity to colds and sickness. Since I've been taking them in combination with grapefruit seed extract and acidophilus, my skin and digestive system have been superstrong!

My husband also has ulcers in his mouth sometimes when he eats too much sugar (it doesn't help that his wonderful wife spoils him with brownies!) or is stressed. He takes "Special Two" along with NOWFoods "Omega 3-6-9" and hasn't had ulcers in a year!

Although it can be tempting to chase neverendingly for the 'perfect' vitamin, I think that one could be perfectly satisfied with the effectiveness and benefits of "Special Two"

PS- Sorry this sounds like an infomercial! I've just been really impressed with "Special Two". And if the ingredients are similar to the "SuperMom" vitamin, I'm sure others will be thrilled with that just as well!

After reading the previous posts, I compared the ingredients in SuperMom and NOW Special Two, as well as the costs, for myself. Special Two contains only 50% of the Vitamin D that SuperMom contains, as well as minimally (1-3%)lower amounts of Biotin, Iron, Magnesium and Chromium. There are differences in the 'non' percentaged ingredients, but I don't know enough to comment on these.

As for costs and dosage, SuperMom's average monthly cost is $12 with a 2 pills/day dosage. NOW Special Two's average monthly cost is $8.50 with a 4 pills/day dosage. Since one bottle of SuperMom contains a 3 month supply vs. NOW Special Two's 2 month supply, the additional shipping costs for the NOW vitamin may make the overall expense the same.

Hope this information is helpful. I, personally, weigh in for SuperMom.

Hi! I have taken almost 2 bottles Of SuperMom vitamins myself. They have maken my nails harder than I can ever remember being and my hair is growing back so thick!

I seen a comment on here about Nows special two. You can get the Nows special two tablets (NOT capsules, there not as much price difference) from Luckyvitamin.com and its almost half as much as the SuperMom and SuperDad. I plan to order them from Luckyvitamin soon and just dump them in our current SuperMom and SuperDad bottles. If you look under NOW's Special Two Multivitamin with green superfoods(Improved Formula) you'll see its identical to SuperMom.

Eco-green Iron-free Multivitamin tablets with green superfoods is identical to SuperDad.

Kathy,

I got a kick out of the mental image of your husband taking SuperMom vitamins! I bet he hides the bottle in front of his firefighting buddies!
