That He may increase

I have just about the best mom anyone could ask for. She is such a blessing and encouragement to me. This morning she sent me this little note:
Here's a quote for you today, dear daughter. I found it in the little Peace Be On Your Home book and it's by someone I don't know, Tenneva Jordan, "A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie." Each day God gives us innumerable opportunities to die to self. May we uphold one another in prayer that He may increase and we decrease.
Love, Mom

That is a lovely quote. I need to strive for that attitude. Sometimes I still find myself to be selfish with my time and things...how silly and unbiblical.

Thanks Crystal for always sharing things that are just so eye-opening for me.

Blessings,
Sommer

Wow...just "happened" on your blog...have been searching for something like this for a long time. My youngest was homeschooled entirely through high school and is now 23...we moved to NC 3 years ago and she has not had fellowship...perhaps through your site we can at last find some nearby people to link up with...thanks for being on here!
