Calling all stay-at-home wives

My friend, Avery, is working on compiling a book for stay-at-homes wives who are childless. She has been unable to have children and has felt very alone as a stay-at-home childless wife. If you are a stay-at-home wife who does not currently have children, she would love to have you participate in this book project. If interested, please email her mrsdanielbernstein AT yahoo.com.

Actually, I expect to be in this category, by virtue of being empty-nested, before too long as well. And neither of my daughters are planning to work (unless it's at home) after they marry.

I'm so glad you brought up the topic. Mothering isn't the only significant thing happening at home.

I can't wait to read this book! I am a childless STHW, and it does get lonely at times. People seem to understand when you stay home with children, but a SAHW? She's just lazy, ya know!

Thanks for the heads up!

Well...I'm home over the summer because I'm going into the teaching profession. I am currently childless as I've only been married for 104 days...but my hubby and I are hoping to hear the pitter patter of little feet before too long...we've decided if we can't have them naturally we'll just go to China and adopt one of those baby girls they don't seem very interested in! :) Being home without someone (like a precious baby) can be a bit lonely sometimes but I'm just trying to enjoy this season of my life.

Sorry for not being clear, I just didn't want to post the email address and send SPAM Avery's way. Here it is: mrsdanielbernstein@yahoo.com

If that doesn't work for some reason, let me know.
