An interview with Cindy Rushton
For anyone who is interested, Cindy Rushton was so kind to interview me yesterday for her podcast. You can hear the interview here.

I've never done something like this before so don't laugh at my bad communication skills. I enjoyed doing it, nonetheless, and hope to someday be a more polished speaker. At least you can get a taste of the "real me" better than you might be able to through words on a computer screen. :)

Neat, Crystal! I've never heard your voice before. . . and must say it's not like what I thought it would be!! :) It's amazing how well you can feel like you know someone but you haven't ever even heard their voice. :)
Oh, Crystal! I'm so glad I could hear your interview! I *do* feel as though I know alot more about you just from hearing your voice. Words on a page just cannot express some thoughts nearly as well as when there is a voice with all of its different expressions. (seeing your mannerisms would have been even more fun!)
I truly appreciate your humility. I'm not sure why but yesterday the Lord just really laid you on my heart. I prayed for the three of you and really felt burdened. I don't often pray for people I only read about in blog world. :)
May God bless you!
Hi Crystal, It was nice to "hear" your voice for the first time.

I don't know what it's like on your end but on mine...Cindy is REALLY loud but your half of it is very, very quiet...is this just how it comes out or is it my end? :) I actually really want to hear your half! :D Btw, your voice reminds me sooo much of Lacey...I'd forgotten what you sound like, it's been so long...remember the events of WHY I called you internationally the first time ?! lol
Hmm, Olivia. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing?? Now I'm curious as to what you thought I would sound like!
BessieJoy: You are so sweet. :) I'm a person who tends to talk with my hands, so I guess you can't get the full effect unless you hear me in person. Thank you for praying for us yesterday, God knew that we needed it. I've been feeling so inadequate with being a helpmeet to Jesse during Bar study. I can only rely upon the Lord for grace. In and of myself, I am so weak!
Diana: I always enjoy hearing people, too. Especially people I've known in the virtual world for a long time!
AussieTigger: Since we recorded it with me just on my regular phone line, it's not the greatest. I had to turn my speakers up quite a bit to even hear it, so it sort of distorts my voice. I usually am not quite so quiet. :) Oh yes, I remember that phone call. It took me like 2 minutes to adjust to your accent. I talked to a guy from Australia the other day on the phone and I thought about you! I love the Aussie "accent."
Thanks, Crystal, for sharing your interview! It was fun to hear your voice and more of your testimony. I hope you'll do more in the future!
Hooray! It's so nice to hear another Midwesterner talk after being surrounded by New Englanders for so long. : ) I should have my husband listen to this - I think he would say that you and I sound a LOT alike.
Dear Crystal,
Your interview was fantastic and how blessed I am to have been able to hear your testimony!
I LOVED hearing your interview! One of my favorite parts was hearing about your parents...how they had a special day of the week assigned to praying for each of their seven children. And how it still continues...even though two of you are married...and they added praying for your familes. What an incredible blessing to be raised surrounded by so much love!
No, it's not a bad thing at all, Crystal. I guess I thought it would be more like a robin song instead of a finch song. That's the best way I can think to explain it. :)
Yeah, you're voice was really quiet on this end too. I held the speaker to my ear and jerked it away whenever Mrs. Cindy said something. :)
It was neat to hear you SAY what I seen you write.
Olivia: Hmm, I had to go and figure out what the difference between robins and finches were. Never even compared their songs before. Guess it means my voice was more screechy than you thought?! :)
It was neat to listen to that! Thanks for sharing.
