Bar exam update

One day down, one to go.

Thanks for your prayers. We're both dog-tired but at peace.

I didn't realize how worried and nervous I would feel for Jesse all day. I couldn't seem to concentrate on anything. I found myself just sort of going in circles and kept ending up back at the kitchen table with my Bible, praying through the Psalms for Jesse. I made it through thirty-five Psalms today. Who knows? Maybe I'll finish the rest of the book tomorrow!

I don't know that I've ever been so ready for something to be over in my life.

The verse that the Lord gave me for this morning was, "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief." It has been so good to have many opportunities to rely upon the Lord these past few weeks and the past few days especially. To pray Scripture, to claim the promises of God for my husband, to see God's empowerment when we are weak. How I want to be strong in faith, not wavering as I cling to the promises of God!

You're nearly there! I bet you'll feel so relaxed tomorrow! I tend to run around in circles myself when I know my husband has something major on - especially if he's preaching overseas & I can't be there to watch & be a visible encouragement to him.I think it's proof of us truly being one with our husbands when we feel this way.Thank God for the power of prayer & the comfort His precious Word is.

Crystal, I'm so happy that this almost over for you and Jesse. I took the LSAT a few years ago before I graduated college, and that was nerve wracking enough. I can't imagine the Bar! Ya'll need to have a big breakfast on Thursday morning to celebrate.

I thought of a verse I relied on the entire time I was in college that still sustains me to this day...Jeremiah 29:11. (Although, Jeremiah 33:3 might be good to pray for Jesse right now too!)

God bless you, sister, and let us know how it all goes, and when Jesse finds out his final score!

Hi Crystal. I've been visiting your website and blog often lately and thought I'd say hi, and thanks! I am amazed at your energy. What an excellent example you are of a Proverbs 31 woman, and so young. I appreciate your serious application of Titus 2 as well in the area of "worker in the home". You are doing a great job in keeping priorities of husband and family in order, but still using time and talent to bless others. such grace!

I just came across your website, so I haven't written before, but I just wanted to wish you and your husband the best on the Bar! I took it in 2002, and while it is definitely a tough test, I hope it will be well worth it to you and your family when it is over.

God bless!
