Turning a new leaf
We just got home from a nice weekend getaway. We're both still reeling from the shock of no school, no tests, and no studying. Hopefully soon, we'll figure out what normal not-in-school people do on a regular basis. We've become so accustomed to school as a way of life that we aren't sure how to live without it.
No complaints from anyone here that we're having to retrain ourselves, though! :)

Hey Crystal, I enjoy your blog and read it a lot. I have a question. I read where your husband had exams and took the bar, but when did he go to graduation? Did I miss that post? Ok enough of being nosy for today lol.
Have a good one
Good question! Actually, he didn't attend his graduation as it was the weekend of my grandmother's funeral. Law school graduation wasn't too big of a deal to him and he wasn't really planning to go to his graduation anyway and it worked out well since he wouldn't have been able to. Passing the bar is going to be much more monumental to him since just graduating doesn't allow him to practice.
Hi Crystal~Enjoy this new found freedom. I'm sure that you all will find ways to fill your empty spaces :-)
We are going through a life change ourselves. My hubby made it into our local Police Academy and his schedule is long. We don't have the same freedom we once did...but we are praising God again and again that he is there. Please keep us in your prayers as he still has 4 1/2 months to go and it is rigorous. Not to mention having a new baby on the way.
God has truly blessed us...
Sommer
hi Sommer, My husband went through the police academy right before we got married. It really wasnt that bad. I helped him study quite a bit. He still has the flash cards I made him with funny sayings on them to help him remember the names of the streets in our city! It's a good career. The dept is very supportive of family!
