Beautiful beyond words

You must go check out this photo montage of Peter Bradrick and Kelly Brown's wedding. It is beautiful beyond words and warmed my heart so much today! We've only gotten to spend a small amount of time with Peter and only know Kelly "from afar" but there were never two people I was more excited to see united in marriage. Seeing the pictures on Doug's blog almost brought tears to my eyes. Marriages like this are so few and far between and I am so thrilled to see how God will use this couple powerfully for His glory!

Related: Nathaniel Darnell has more pictures on his blog. More here, here, and here.

I do not know who those people are, but that was so lovely, it made me want to cry. I also fondly remebered my own wedding day, not as extravagant, but just as sweet, PTL

Hi Crystal! What a beautiful wedding! They are truly a wonderful reminder of the importance of us raising up godly children. Peter and Kelly are the people they are today because their parents diligently discipled them. Deborah Brown, Kelly's mother, gave a wonderful talk to the ladies at my church last October. (Scott Brown's church is only 1 1/2 hours away from the family integrated church that I attend) Deborah spoke on so many facets of biblical womanhood. (Crystal- I know you would have loved it)Deborah said she sometimes gets calls from ladies who don't know what to do regarding their high school graduate daughters. Many of these women say they want to send their daughters to college "just in case". Deborah always questions them, "just in case of WHAT?" They respond, "Oh, you know, in case she does not meet Mr.Right." Others say, "In case her husband dies." Deborah said that women do not belong in college, but in the home. She said when we go against God's Will and follow an "in case", we put the sovereignty of God in our back pocket and put man's wisdom first. She and Scott have just poured so much wisdom and love into their daughter. The Bradrick family have obviously done the same with their son. May we always aim for the best for our children.

Wow. Normally when I look at wedding pictures there is something that I don't like... but that wedding looks absolutely beautiful! I was just talking to mama the other day about how fun it would be to have all the little girls in our church be part of my wedding! What a beautiful wedding they had... definitely an inspiring story in pictures. Thanks for posting the links to them. Otherwise I'd have missed out on some of the best wedding pictures I have ever seen.

No, anonymous, not all American weddings are that big. Mine was very small. I only had my two sisters for brides maids and about 80-90 guests. I laughed when I read you comment.

I was paying for my wedding so I had a limited budget.

That was a prettty wedding. I would have loved to have had an outside reception, but knowing New England weather, I decided to be safe. Yes, it rained. : (

The wedding was so beautiful, but I just loved the wedding vows the bridge and groom came up with. What a beautiful testimony! Really made me want to cry.

Crystal,

I thought the vows were beautiful. Apparently, they all came from Scripture. The only part that still has me confused is when Kelly said "in your house" rather than in "our house." I am assuming there is something biblical for this but all my thoughts keep going back to when Jesus said he would prepare a place for his bride. I just thought if it was a place for her bride, that it would be hers too. Can you shed some light on this for me? Thanks again for your great blog!
