Review: Bless the Lord with Modest Dress
A dear family that I have gotten to know a small bit through our business recently started a website dedicated to provided handmade modest clothing for Christian families called Bless the Lord with Modest Dress. In a day and age when even little girl's clothes are becoming provocative, it is so encouraging to find wholesome, modest, quality, and affordable clothing.
They kindly sent Kathrynne this adorable A-line jumper with matching panties. She has worn it so many times that I expect it will be too worn to save for hand-me-downs! It's feminine, yet practical - nice enough to wear to church, but casual enough to wear for play.
Be sure to visit Bless the Lord with Modest Dress for many modest, well-made, and affordable choices in clothing. And don't miss their cute girl's aprons!

Kathrynne's dress is so beautiful! Too bad I only have little boys, who get more than enough clothing as hand-me-downs! :) I think it's easier to find modest clothing for boys than girls, though. At least, when people give us second-hand stuff, most of it's useable, whereas I think I would have a more difficult time with girls clothing. :)
I agree with Tammy. I have a daughter and 4 boys. My daughter can only wear about 25% of the hand-me-downs we are gifted. On the other hand, my boys can wear just about everything they are given.
My 11 year old daughter has been given 2 and 3" heeled boots, belly showing shirts, tight jeans, short shorts, and clothing with inappropriate wording on them. ALL of this has come from other Christian families, too. Sometimes I wonder...
Luckily, Kait feels uncomfortable in those kinds of things. She prefers modesty, Thanks be to God.
My girls are older but I too am glad they prefer modest clothing. We learned to sew because as they're getting older, feminine modest clothing is becoming almost impossible to find in the local stores.
