To be a kid again

Oh the things you do when you have a little toddler in your home!

Last night, we were teaching Kathrynne how to do a somersault and, you guessed it - Jesse and I had to demonstrate. She wouldn't settle for just one demonstration, though. Pretty soon, we were all somersaulting around on the floor and laughing our heads off at each other!

Ow! I think I'm out of "somersault shape." I can't believe I used to enjoy doing those kinds of things as a kid! Needless to say, it was worth the discomfort because Kathrynne not only learned how to do a somersault, but we had a most amusing evening teaching her.

Try cartwheels, Crystal! I don't remember getting the energy rush that comes along with a cartwheel - maybe because as a kid that energy level was normal?
Oh, to feel like that every day!

I couldn't even do a somersault even as a child! LOL My little sister who is 30 can and does STILL do them!

Isn't is just mind boggling to see how FLEXIBLE little children are?

Us girls will never forget th day we convinced my mom to try a cartwheel at the age of 40 or so! She did it perfectly although her body did not feel as great as it use to!
