Blogger help
When I signed onto Blogger tonight, I was told that I can now upgrade the new version of Blogger. I know we all have to eventually switch over and I'm planning to do so soon to take advantage of the great features. However, if I switch, will I have to put a lot of time and effort into the switch? I just wanted to know ahead of time what was involved so that I could be prepared and do it at a more opportune time if some work and time is involved.

I switched and other than filling out a short form at the begining it didn't change how much time I have to spend on posts at all.
I had no problem switching. The only thing it didn't do was automatically put my adsense back up. I believe I just had to go into my template and add it back in with a quick click of a button. No problem!
My husband switched (I don't have a blog), and I don't think it was a big deal at all. I think it depends on if you want to add categories, Like Merchant Ships wrote a post about it

I switched and it took no effort whatsoever. The only thing I wasn't prepared for is that it takes your blog offline while it does. If your blog is big, it takes longer. Given the mammoth size of yours...I'd say it'd be a while. Hence, my advice would be to post a warning, then choose the time period where your blog would get the least traffic. :) They do e-mail you to let you know that it has been switched over and is back online.
The first day I did find it a hassle to log in but it hasn't been a problem since then. And there are some good new features and it's just as easy to use!
I switched and found it nice and easy. I was able to implement some details that were harder to do in the old blogger. It does all of the work for you. http://multicultural-cuisine.blogspot.com/
