A package I just had to mention
In need of some creative Christmas and Advent celebration ideas? I just got an email from Kerry Beck sharing about her brand-new package which looked so great I had to mention it here. Looks like there are more ideas and inspiration than you could ever use in a lifetime, or at least most certainly in the next four weeks!
If only I weren't avoiding the kitchen right now - just looking at those ebooks makes me want to go bake cookies. But I know better than to start that! However, for those of you not in your first trimester of pregnancy, be sure to check out this great package.

I'm sure this might be an unpopular thing to say but I am in no way offended by "Happy Holidays" or believe that this takes away from Christ. Conversely, I believe that for too many years people who in no way believe in Christ or Christmas took over and made the holiday into the spending extravaganza it has become. I'd rather my "Merry Christmas" both come from and go to people who really mean it. Those who follow Christ will mean it and for those who don't "Happy Holidays" is fine. It is simply a reality that many who said "Merry Christmas" before were simply nominal "christians" following a tradition. Really bringing Christ back into Christmas would mean having people who don't believe find some other holiday to hype and Christians celebrating the Holy Day with the reverence and true joy it deserves that does not come from a store, has no price tag, and is priceless beyond measure. Sorry, for this long comment! A joyous Christmas to all who are celebrating Christ's birth!
