Do not buy these tests, I repeat, do not buy these tests

Everyone knows that if you take a pregnancy test and it's positive, you're pregnant, right? Wrong.
For those of you who stock up on pregnancy tests when they are on sale, you need to run to your cabinet and make sure you don't have any Clearly Confirm pregnancy tests there. If you find them, throw them out. And do not ever buy these suckers, ever. Here's why.
I've been wanting to post this for weeks, but when Tammy first posted it, I had announced our pregnancy here a few days prior and I didn't want there to be confusion that I took one of these tests. I didn't; I had just happened to hear from others who had gotten these free after rebate from Rite-aid and who had also gotten false positives.
Please read this information from my friend Tammy and pass it on. It tore me up to have to be the one to tell her (after she'd already announced her pregnancy to others) that the test she took was unreliable. Believe me, that's the last thing you want to hear after you've spent a week basking in the excited news of what you thought was a new life growing inside of you. Ugh.

That is so terrible! I can't imagine being pregnant when you are not!
Just to let everyone on here know, newlittleblessing.com is sadly going out of business. You can read the full story at the website of the why behind why we are closing. But we are having incredible sales on ergos, slings, books, beeyoutiful supplements and pregnancy and ovululation test strips! If anyone is interested, take a look at: www.newlittleblessing.com
Thanks!
Caroline
Caroline sent in a post concerning the pregnancy Tests we had on clearance. She did not realize they had just sold out. We only have ovulation tests left.
Blessings,
Jennifer
That is awful. I cant imagine how I would feel. We pray so hard for a baby and I felt emotional trauma just reading your friends post.
Thanks for this! I would never have guessed. GRRR
Thank you Crystal. I had already read this on Tammy's blog awhile back.
Thanks for posting this, Crystal! I just about bought one of these when they were free after rebate a couple of months back. For some reason, I didn't and now I'm glad! That would be horrible to think you are pregnant when you're not!
That is bogus! I can't believe how deceptive some companies can be in advertising their products.
I think that if one has health insurance, and suspect pregnancy, they should go to the doctor and get accurately tested instead of wasting large amounts of money on tests. It is building one up for a let down BIGTIME!
I will be sure to pass this info on to anyone who may use the product. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for posting this, Crystal. I was really shocked to read this, because it's exactly what happened to me in the last 3 weeks. I haven't shared on my own blog yet...but I was having symptoms (nausea, exhaustion), and took two confirm clearly tests, one on a sunday and one on monday-both positive. That sent me through a roller coaster to think that I would be having 'irish twins', 11 months apart...but I knew that God would provide me the strength for it. That same day I went to see the doctor-she was all excited that I was pregnant (even though she had just delivered baby #1 so recently. What a cool lady!!) A few days later I had an ultrasound (since by my LMP I was already 8 weeks along.) They saw no evidence that I was pregnant. I took another pregnancy test that day (another confirm clearly), which was negative. I was heartbroken. My period came a few days later. Thankfully, we didn't announce the pregnancy.
Now my question is, was I really pregnant or not? I guess I'll never know till I get to heaven. In the meantime, I'm spreading the word about Confirm Clearly.
