Hold 400 years of history in your hands!

My husband has been "drooling" over the "new" 1599 Geneva Bibles recently. He really wants one of the original copies, but I've been thinking that one of the calfskin reproductions would have to do. However, he just might be able to get a page from the original 1599 Geneva Bible thanks to KimC and her husband's new project.
The exciting news is that not only do they offer some very affordable prices on these beautiful Geneva Bible pages, they are giving a framed and matted copy away for free. Yes, I said free. How? Enter the contest by posting about the Geneva Bible pages and the contest on your blog and then email them. More details are here.

I just got one of the "new" versions and it's really wonderful. I had been looking out for one that I could really read for years... and just kept watching and waiting. It's great that someone took this project on and it now making this wonderful Bible available again.
Crystal,
Thanks for helping us spread the word (or maybe I should say, The Word).
And remember, as another blogger pointed out, no Bibles are harmed in the process of gifting. Our pages come from broken Bibles that have been preserved as fragments.
