Little bit, by little bit

I found my floor today. Wow, I had forgotten what it looked like. Me liketh it.

Headway is being made, little bit, by little bit. Still working on the vast pile of dirty dishes (did I mention our dishwasher has been broken?) and the mountain of laundry which I think includes about all of the articles of clothing we own. Kathrynne getting unexpectedly sick and throwing up all over the final remains of clothing and bedding she had left has necessitated the move on the laundry. Maybe God knew I needed the extra incentive.

By the way, I thought about taking before and after pictures of my house like Courtney did (HT to Tammy), but my camera has not been replaced yet, so I'll just leave it to your imagination. :)

Your home, dear friend, most likely looks like mine. I'll be taking pictures tomorrow afternoon and posting to the blog. With school finals and papers and theses to write, well, I've neglected all but the laundry! (And even that hasn't actually been put away....just stacked neatly...okay, not neatly, on my recliner.)

Crystal,
I can empathize with you, even though I don't have the morning sickness and moving to deal with. I'm pg, too, (the first!) 7 mo's along and beginning to be "great with child". :)
I'm taking a break right now, between finishing a batch of tarts and cleaning up the mess... (our dishwasher isn't working either!) And feeling rather worn out, after a busy day. The thought of going to bed soon is keeping me plodding along...
Just so you know, somebody cares... :) Isn't it all worth it though?!

this reminds me when we were first married (15 years ago already) and we would buy new underwear to avoid the MOUNTING LAUNDRY that we had to take to the laundry mat at that time :)

It's okay---to buy boxes, that is....it sounds like that will help simplify things for you! I hope your move goes well.

I loved reading your courtship story! What an encouragement for us as we raise our children to prepare them for a biblical courtship.

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Kim

Wow, with all you've got going on, you still managed to get my e-books out on time(gifts from hubby). Thank you! I'm enjoying them.
