Finally, adding some new "gems"

I'm woefully behind in adding new products to our bookstore! I keep finding new "gems" and ordering quantities of them and then not having a chance to add them to our shopping cart online. So, this afternoon while Kathrynne is napping, I made it a priority to get these new items added.

One such "gem" that I'm very excited about is Reflections on a Journey, a beautifully done CD of piano with orchestra arrangements by Greg Howlett. We received a copy of this CD not too long ago and we've not listened to much else since! These uplifting hymn arrangements will encourage your spirit in the Lord. It has ministered to me again and again.

You can listen to a few clips here:

The Love of God

Count Your Blessings

His Eye is On the Sparrow

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Jesus is All the World to Me

In addition, I am thrilled to now be carrying all of the titles in print by Amy Carmichael. It has been a long-time dream of mine to be able to offer all of these and I hope you are as blessed by them as I have been. We also added three new apron patterns, a brand-new hand-sewing book by Rebekah Wilson, and a must-read book if you have boys.

And, I can't let the cat out of the bag yet, but we have some new products on the drawing table ourselves which I am extremely excited about!

Crystal,
I love inspiring biographies and was just wondering, which Amy Carmichael book would you recommend if only one could be purchased?

Thanks,
Valerie

Valerie - we just added a biography section to our bookstore and I'm hoping to add many of my favorites there in the next few months. There is an excellent Amy Carmichael biography which I just added by Frank Houghton. I also like A Chance to Die by Elizabeth Elliot.

Oh and I just realized you may have not been asking about biographies but just about the Amy Carmichael books in general. Probably my all-time favorite is IF. Very small and inexpensive and so convicting!

Thanks Crystal, I have heard of Amy Carmichael for years, but have yet to read about her life. I think now might be the time to read something written BY her and something ABOUT her!
