Clutter be gone!

I spent a good chunk of this morning cleaning out every nook and cranny of this house in preparation for our upcoming garage sale. I had just done this in December and January when we moved and yet I came up with many more boxes full of unnecessary stuff. How does this happen? I can never figure it out. I try to be constantly vigilant about clutter and yet it forever is creeping in and attempting to take over the peace of our home. I'm anxious to get it out of my garage now!

I am exactly the same way. I am constantly trying to organize and de-clutter and for some odd reason I can never catch-up. It's like dust. Clean it off and a week later it's back. Where does it come from? UGH!

For me I think it is that the more I declutter the more I realize what I can live without, causing me to consider more things to be clutter rather than wants. It does appear to be never ending, LOL.

I like FlyLady's rule for clutter -If I don't love it and it doesn't make me feel good then I toss it. This has really helped me get rid of more stuff in one decluttering mission.

Hi! Every year we have a garage sale, even when I thought we were junk free! We always use it as a family goal..trip to Dollywood, trampoline, etc...

This year, we are using our garage sale for adoption funds! We are going to adopt children from Liberia!! Love, Denise
