Kathrynne's musical debut
I came home on Saturday from getting my hair done and Jesse said I just had to watch this video first thing he had taken of Kathrynne while I was gone. I know I'm a bit biased, but I thought it was adorable. I guess she decided that she'd come up with a creative alternative for our lack of owning a piano! And now, every day, she has to spend at least a good 15-20 minutes "playing the piano." I got a kick of the artistic expression she added to her playing in this video - not sure where she picked up that from. Must have been her Aunt Gretchen. :)

What a dollbaby! Thank you so much for sharing, Crystal. She couldn't be any cuter.
she is so cute...need to get her one of those childrens keyboards..Pam
Oh, that is so sweet! I love the "arpeggios!" Wouldn't aunties Brigette and Gretchen be proud!
Thanks for sharing. :)
How PRECIOUS!!!! Thanks for sharing. I'm sure she'll be filling your home with beautiful music someday!
Too cute! Move over Dino.
Oh, my. That's about the cutest thing I saw today!!
You really should develop this artistic potential in her ;)
That was so cute!! Children are wonderful!
That's hysterical!
You should send that in to America's Funniest Home Videos. You really should!
George is always doing cute little things but, I never seem to have camera handy.
That's so cute!

Oh my goodness that is so precious!!
That is so sweet! I think I had better take my artistic expression cues from her. I've been playing piano for a long time, and at a festival I played at recently, the adjudicator told me I should be "more expressive"! I didn't expect a two-year-old to set the example for me, though. :)
Wow! First the violin, and now the piano! So cute! :)
Adorable! She's even got the pedals going, with her feet!
And I think she's telling Daddy, "I already played for you. It's your turn."
Too cute! She just needs accompaniment on air guitar.
She is sooo adorable! And creative too!!!
TOOOOOOO CUTE!
Hahaha! I love it!
Adorable! And her form is quite nice. Look at those curved fingers! :)
My boys both did this with preaching and then my little girl did, too. Her brothers were very quick to inform her that girls couldn't be preachers! :)448041
Sooooooo cute! Quite the musical expression too. :)
Haha! Well, I had to sit here for 20 minutes for it to download, but it was worth every bit! That is WAY too cute as well as hilarious! Well, I don't know about K getting her artistic expression from me...at least, I hope I'm not THAT espressive (i.e. distracting) when I play! :) I noticed she even had the pedal part going too - that's a hard thing for most kids to learn.
Okay, I've decided, next time you're here, I'm starting piano lessons with her! :)
BTW- this is probably my favorite post of all you've ever posted! Keep them coming - or at least send them to me via email. :)

Priceless!! She is soo cute!!
So cute! You should let her start piano lessons -- and the way she was moving her feet around, she might turn into an organist!

Aww, sooo cute! Get that girl a keyboard, she's a natural!
That was adorable!!
Auntie Laura and Lisa who are also pianist are very proud of the precious little pianist! :-)

Hilarious.
Too cute! That is just precious...thanks for sharing.
Oh my! That was precious! And I noticed her moving her feet like she was using the pedals too. (o:
Just adorable!!!! Thank you for sharing that precious "Kathrynne moment" with us!
Wow, she is VERY expressive. Being a pianist myself, I would highly recommend getting her some type of piano! She might have a whole bunch of music hiding inside! :-) She even had her feet going with the pedal, which is hard to do!

Crystal,
Looks like God has blessed you with an artistic child. She is extremely creative! and it was such a joy watching her play in the bookshelf Philharmonic! haha! I am glad you are going to homeschool her and aren't sending her off to some preschool diploma mill somewhere. Have a blessed day!
That is just so precious! Looks like you have a future church pianist on your hands!!
How precious!! She'll be leading family sing-a-longs next!!

Oh, too precious! Loved the pedal action and hand lifts and everything...Looks like you'll have to plan piano lessons on the horizen! :)
Thanks for sharing. She is so beautiful.
Peace,

Oh that is precious! Thank you for sharing it!
By the way, have you heard of GodTube.com? I just found it recently to share some clips for our church blog. I typed Christian alternative to YouTube and found it. I think you'll like it! It takes getting used to at first and it may take thirty minutes or less to get your video approved. It also has GodTube-Broadcasting Him featured on the front when you play your clips. I thought I'd share that!

Oh my goodness, that was just ADORABLE! She was playing her little heart out. Children are just so sweet and cute!
Have a Blessed Day and God Bless!
Hi...I just came down from Morgan Denise's blog to watch this video!!
This little gal is going to be a fine piano player one of these days!!
She already has the right hand and finger positions!
Jo MUST see this for sure!!from Terry
You are absolutely right. That is one of the sweetest things I ever saw. And so sweet how she seemed a bit embarassed to find that Dad was watching her. When I was about 5 years old a local children's show used to have on a woman playing piano once a week. Ah the good old days (this was about 1970) when a kids show had on a librarian reading books and a woman playing piano once a week! After the show I would play piano on the couch for a long time. Eventually I did take piano and love it to this day. Thanks for sharing that!!
