Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

I had purchased some dried cranberries on sale a few weeks back and found the perfect delicious recipe for them today. It's a good thing we are having lots of company over this week for how many sweets I've been in the mood to make! It seems about all I want to do is eat and cook and sleep. What a life!

Me and my friend made some apricot & oatmeal cookies today - they are delicious! As well as the usual chocolate chip ones. Yum! This recipe looks great - I love cranberry cookies. Thanks for sharing Crystal!

Hi Crystal,
I am so happy you posted this recipe! My niece had these cookies at her Christmas wedding reception. I've been trying to get the recipe from my sister-in-law...and I'm still waiting. But no more...thanks to you! LOL I know my family will make this a staple in our home! Thanks a bunch.

I will be trying this recipe soon--hopefully this coming weekend after I pick up some craisins. I may try adding mixed dried fruit, too. Yum.:-) I was pregnant at Christmas time and became obsessed with baking! Besides from the very basic chores and caring for my other child, it was about all I had energy to do. There was something very satisfying about it...we had so many baked goods around the house that I sent trays of things with my husband to work to share with co-workers, gave away stuff to the neighbors, my Mom and Dad, etc. etc. and STILL have some of it in the freezer! Everyone probably thought I was the crazy pregnant lady, but I had fun! :-)

I love cranberry scones! Yummy. Try Barefoot Contessa's recipe. Very easy, very tasty. Perfect every time.
