This girl likes her peanut butter
You know how I mentioned a few weeks ago that Kathrynne was addicted to chicken? Well, she has a new craze now...
"Peanut butter on a spoon."
Everytime she comes up and says, "Please have sumping to eat?" she always adds in, "Peanut butter on a spoon?"
Don't ask me where she came up with it as I don't usually just go around digging a spoon into the peanut butter jar and having at it, but this girl likes the peanut butter.
At least it's peanut butter and chicken, though. It could be some chemical-laden, food-coloring laced item of choice. Then, we might have a problem on our hands.
As it is, I usually give in to the peanut butter snack requests. Afterall, who can resist those big blue eyes looking up at me and her very polite tone of voice?

I do that too, when I was something sweet, but not chocolate. I will use a butter knife too. :)

I am like that as well. I like peanut butter on a spoon it helps when I crave something sweet. My daughter loved it on apples when she was younger. Shes almost 13 now and likes the apples but not the peanut butter.
I am enjoying your site very much and just started a blog site myself yesterday I thought what a great outlet for me. I am learning alot from reading and thinking hard on what I can do to help our budget in my own way. And earning a small amount of money for little things and savings. I am glad I found it while I was playng around a couple of weeks ago.

well, we cannot have peanut butter due to allegies, but when Miss Pear requests hops (bananas) with her big blue eyes, I cave.
I debate if it is the big blue eyes or the sweet polite voice.

It seems that there are quite a few peanut butter fans! My favorite way is to eat peanut butter on apple slices. By the way, we call peanut butter on a spoon a "peanut butter lollipop."

I used to love that as a snack as a child. Now all of my children enjoy it. It seems to be the midmorning snack to hold them over until lunch. I know it has a lot of fat, but a lot of protein too!
We just have to watch for double dipping!!!!
I have no dessert prepared for tonight. We'll be having pb on apple slices! Yum!!!
my nieces and nephew ask if they can have a "peanut butter spoon" for a snack all the time!
Peanut butter on a spoon was a staple of my childhood diet - except I think it was my mom who came up with the idea.
It was a staple in my childhood too, my grandma came up with it when we were licking the pb off the bread and giving the pbless bread to her dog. My dd and ds love it too (they love anythign with pb in it or on it!)
I'm with the girl--just make it crunchy! :)
