Birth Day Diary: Entry Four

Contractions are definitely getting more intense but they are still very manageable.

Jesse's resting (short night last night!) and everyone else is out taking a walk.

I just finished answering all my emails in my inbox (so thankful they have wireless here!). Might not be your typical thing to do while in labor at the hospital, but since I can't have the distractions of being at home during early labor, I'm trying to come up with plenty to keep me busy for as long as possible!

By the way, my blog traffic today has been almost triple what it usually is. Some of you must be refreshing your browsers quite often! ;)

It's so great that you can get distracted while in early labor! When I was in early labor with my second child, I was reading the fourth book in a Beverly Lewis series, and I would read between contractions! I was very dedicated! LOL!

Will continue praying!

My last son (I have two other sons) was born in 2005 (January), but we didn't own a laptop (now we do). I was really wishing we had one, but me being a computer dummy, I didn't know or didn't think about wireless! It certainly would have kept me occupied when recovering from my c-section! If, a BIG IF we do decide to go for one more, I'll ask if the hospital has wireless, so I won't be so bored. I hope your labor and birth go well!

Normally, I try to turn my computer off, and not leave it on all day. But today is a special occasion. I am leaving it on and checking in, in between chores. This is very exciting! By the way, you simply look too good to be a laboring mama! You really would not want to see me in labor. lol I will keep the prayers coming.

I have been thinking of you and praying for you! I was given pitocin with my son because he didn't want to leave the warm security of the womb:) I was ten days overdue with him. I just stumbled onto your blog a few days ago and have so much enjoyed reading! I so appreciate your Godly attitude towards being a wife and mother. It is so anti-culture, and so needed. I am thankful that their are other families out there with the same convictions and beliefs! God bless! ~Elizabeth

I'm not getting ANY work done, because I'm constantly checking for new posts! :) I'm keepping you all in prayer, as well as the hospital staff - who knows, someone may come to Christ because of this unexpected change in your birth plan - how exciting to be used by the Lord in such a huge way!

Crystal,
Back from errands & checking in - I hope you are doing great (you look terrific)!

I was thinking you must have a lot of traffic on the site today. I was wondering how Jesse is doing too. He must be tired, but excited.

Yes, I keep checking the blog periodically between chores and nursing sessions. I don't know anyone else who is even pregnant now, so it's exciting to share the joy in someone's delivery news. I'm excited and glad that everything is going smoothly thus far. I'm amazed that you are still able to blog at this time, but sure am enjoying the updates. What an exciting day!

Next time I'm going to wear my own jammies, too. What a nice idea! I hate the hospital gowns that are scratchy and smell like bleach...and how they have all those crazy ties in the back. UGH!
