Birth Day Diary: Entry Two

They are getting ready to start the pitocin just now. Before they do, I had to pop on here to share a huge answer to prayer we received this morning.

My platelet levels, which have hovered at the same very low level for at least two months now shot up dramatically today. For weeks, we've tried every natural remedy in the book in addition to high doses of iron and the levels never budged. However, today of all days, they have gone up to almost normal levels. Coincidence? I think not. God is so good.

This was exactly the encouragement I needed going into this morning. I know God has His hand on this whole situation and that He is watching out for me, but a tangible evidence of this through the leap in my platelet levels was such a wonderful way for Him to show His love and kind care for me.

God is hearing and answering your prayers!

Been thinking about you all day (yesterday) and all night....man, it was hard to get sleep last night because all I did was think and pray and think some more wondering what was going on!!!! Then I prayed some more!!! :-) I ran downstairs first thing this morning to see what is happening....I am so glad to hear your counts are going up and that your mother and sisters are there for you (Jesse too!!!, I didn't mean to forget him!!!!!!!!!!!!) :-)

I just want you to know that it is an honor to be able to pray for you Crystal and be in on something so wonderful and controlled totally by God. What a witness you are being for Him. I am understanding so much better keeping my mind off myself and learning to care and pray for others. (hope that doesn't sound cheesy but it's true).

Looking forward to a healthy mama and baby very soon. Love, C.

P.S. I know everyone is very much busy, but if anyone would remember, could you please tell your mother I said hello and your sister's too. I am glad Bridgette and her family are back safe and sound. What a wonderful God we serve.

Awesome ~ is it to have Him give the desires of the heart ~ even toward praying in His will. Bless you as you bless Him, Crystal.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:14,15
