Thank you for all your prayers. I can't believe we had a girl. I was so sure we were going to have a boy. :) We are thrilled. And I am so thrilled to be on the other side of it. It was definitely a very difficult labor, but God was so faithful. There's so much I want to share, but I will have to save it for later.
There were so many answers to prayer - the largest of which was that I didn't hemorrhage. I'm completely exhausted but so thankful. God is so good.
By the way, her name means "pure" - as does Kathrynne's name and my name. Her middle name is the same as mine.

Congratulations! I just knew it was a girl! :-) How wonderful that she was such a good size for being three weeks early. My daughther was a week overdue and was just over seven pounds, so your little lady had four weeks on mine and was that big---awesome! What a blessing that you didn't hemmhorrage and that you are on the road to recovery. What does Kathrynne think of her sister? :-)It sounds like you had a long day...being induced in the morning and then her arriving in the evening. My goodness, Crystal, you must be exhausted! Isn't it such a GREAT feeling to have the birth behind you, worries put to rest, and now a gorgeous little baby to love? I'm so happy for you!

Crystal I'm sure every other person reading your blog would say the same thing that I am saying. GET YOUR REST. We can wait for more now that we have the gender and name and so forth. Rest and recover and don't feel badly if you wait until tommorow for another post.

I'm so glad you have the delivery behind you. What a long day for your support team, too! It's so cute that you'll have two little girls now...very handy for passing down clothes! I have a boy and then a girl, so I have no idea what it's like to have two of the same gender. I'm sure it will be fun! I am excited to hear all about your birth and see pictures of your new princess...but until then do try to rest while you can and take your time getting back into routine. I've been on pins and needles all day, so anxious for you and hoping all went well. It sounds like it did! Take care and enjoy your new daughter.
It was so neat to read the posts throughout your labor. I've never been with anyone while they labored, so it was a unique experience to have the updates, rather than just hearing after the fact. Thank you for sharing your joy with all of us. It actually brought tears to my eyes when I read that Kaitlynn had arrived at long last...after the difficult delivery, the complications during the pregnancy...it was wonderful to hear that everything went well under the circumstances and now all the pain and anxiety is past and you have another baby girl in the family. God is so good. It will be fun to read more about the birth and what your new baby is like when you are back on your feet and rested. Take care and try to let yourself be pampered.

BTW, Crystal, George (my oldest) came a few days shy of three weeks early. He was 7lbs 15oz!!!! Everyone was so suprised. Can you imagine how big he would've been if I had made it to 40 weeks?!
