Tuesday giveaway: Apron from Marie-Madeline Studio
If you've read my blog for any length of time, you know that I'm like Hillbilly Housewife in that I'm a firm believer in aprons. There's nothing quite like donning a beautiful apron to make me suddenly feel motivated to get busy cleaning, baking, organizing, de-cluttering...
I have to confess that I have a real "thing" for aprons. When I see a pretty apron, my heart does a little flutter and I get all excited just thinking how much I could get done if I were wearing it. I know, call me weird, but it's true.
So I nearly jumped for joy when Marie-Madeline Studio contacted me about giving me one of their oh-so-gorgeous aprons and also giving one away on my blog. I didn't have to think twice about accepting that offer.
You should have seen me do the happy dance when my apron actually arrived. My husband thought I was a little strange to get so excited about it, but I can't help it. Who wouldn't love such a cute apron?

I can't speak highly enough of this new company started by a mom and her four daughters. Each item is carefully handcrafted by one of the seamstresses in their family. Their products are not only feminine, cute, and unique, but they are incredibly well made.
They kindly sent our family a few other goodies besides the apron (some time I'll post a picture of the adorable purse they made for Kathrynne!) and we were highly impressed. Their dedication to producing high quality goods with the utmost attention to workmanship is every bit true.
Marie-Madeline Studio offers a selection of ready-made handbags and shoulder bags, diaper bags, aprons, skirts, corsages, lavender sachet pincushions, paper goods. Plus, they also offer a variety of made-to-order items.
This week, Marie-Madeline Studio is giving away the lovely apron shown above to one of my blog readers, and they are also giving away one of their signature lavender sachet pincushions (shown below).

I love that apron. I went to about 4 different stores trying to find one and all I found was a a chef's apron, not very feminine. I ended making my own for 1/2 of what the other apron was and it is very cute and feminine. It was the first time I have ever made anything so it is not perfect but I am proud of it. It would be great to win a nice feminine apron. And you're right, since I began wearing them I feel more motivated to keep my house clean.
