Thanks to
Martha for alerting me to
this website which offers some adorable handmade girls' skirts and dresses. The prices are very reasonable and they are having a sale right now which makes them even
better.
These skirts are sewn by Christian women from a church in Nava, Mexico. Your purchase provides an opportunity for the ladies to help support their families while still caring for their children. The "Dorcas House" where the ladies sew is located within walking distance of the church and many of their homes.

I don't have any personal experience with
this company, so if anyone here does, please let us know. I also wasn't sure whether these were shipped from Mexico, which might make the price higher if it included shipping.

yes, truly the dress looks marvellous on her.
have a happy day.
I had found the website through the recommendation of someone who ordered from them! I will ask them about the shipping! I thought it was neat that you could support people in another country and still pay really reasonable prices for the clothes!
We have bought many dresses and skirts from Babz Girls and have been so pleased with them! They are mailed from TX for those who were wondering.

Hi Crystal,
Having no little girls in our family, we don't have any Babz girls dresses, but we have the met the missionary daughter who trains the Mexican women to make them. Some friends of ours have many of their dresses and I know they are very pleased with the company and the workmanship.
If that's your child, she is just adorable!
