Pile, be gone!

Only a day late, here's the great pile clean up:

Before

After

Need I say more? A desire accomplished is truly sweet to the soul--and to the Master Bedroom! I hardly recognize that corner since those too-big and too-little clothes of Kaitlynn's have been occupying that space for entirely too long.

In their place, I filled up a basket with books to read soon or books I'm currently reading. I figured having a confined space for these might help me with my problem of starting too many books at once. Or not.

Great job, Crystal! :) I don't have photos, but I do have to tell you -- your post this week inspired me to do something I haven't done in literally YEARS! LOL I FINALLY tackled our filing cabinet - all four drawers! I threw out so much stuff! It really didn't take that long and I feel so much better about it! Dh has wanted this done for so long and I've procrastinated and we moved with way more 'paperwork' than we should have! :( So, he was THRILLED BEYOND THRILLED to come home and see it done! YEAH!

Thanks again for inspiring me -- my husband is so grateful! :)

Crystal, what book (besides the Bible, of course!) has influenced you most in your role of SAHM/D?

That's a great idea about the books in the basket - and the room looks great!

Looks great!

By the way, if you haven't read Feminine Appeal ( I see it in your basket)...it is awesome. It is to the point, and may be very convicting to some, but it is God's truths for women. It can change your life.

Another great book for women is "Becoming a Woman that Pleases God" by Ennis & Tatlock (written by Home Ec instructors from The Masters College in Santa Clarita, CA) & The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace.
