I think she's been listening in to our rousing dinner table discussions
Out-of-the-blue while we were cleaning the bathroom today Kathrynne asks:
"Mommy, what's wrong with the government?"
While we're answering that big question, we might as well talk about being epistemologically self-conscious.

That's hilarious! My 3 year old boy was very interested in Ron Paul not too long ago. It's very cute hearing him try to participate in the conversations. He asked us a couple of days ago if the taxis were going to get more expensive. He meant taxes. sigh...
Maybe 3 is too young for political talk?
Ha! That is great!
It reminds me of the other afternoon when my 5 year old was writing a letter and when I asked who he was writing to, he said very matter of factly, "the government."
Out of the mouth of babes!
You just never know what's going through those little minds....=)
Like when I told him about my friend in Kansas (you!), his ears perked and in his most serious and bewildered voice he said...."you mean, she lives in tornado alley?!"

Episte - what? Never mind, I get your point :o)
Good for a smile!
It is so amazing how much our kids pick up without us realizing it. They know what is important to us by what they hear coming out of our mouths. It is really sobering and always causes me to remember that I need to be my children's main encourager to seek the things of the Lord and be a vessel for Him to use in this fallen world. Not just by telling this to them but by living it.
lol I've had those moments. Yes indeed, they are listening.
LOL! Our 8 yo boy is VERY interested in the election this year. Each time he hears about a primary result, he asks "Who won the president, mom?" Sadly, it's not looking good either way this year!
