Frugal Friday: Any helpful hints for set-in stains? **Also, note new rule for participants**
I have a problem: I ran out of the world's best stain remover a few weeks ago. And in all the hubbub and busyness of life, didn't have a chance to get a new bottle of it before I did a number of loads of laundry. The end result? I have literally at least ten items of clothing with set-in stains on them. I am cringing at the thought of having to relegate these to the garage sale bin if I can't get the stains out. But so far, I've had no success at removing the stains.
Anyone have great tips or ideas for getting rid of stains which have already been washed and dried in? I am pretty positive there has to be a way, I'm just at a loss as to what it is.
Help me out here so the money spent on these clothes isn't wasted!

I have found that Oxiclean gets out most anything. Make it strong and let it sit a while. I even left a sample tube of lipstick in a pocket and it got washed and dried (and sat and sat and sat) and Oxiclean got it out. I was amazed!!
Dawn dishwashing liquid will get out any grease stain (i.e. bacon grease that popped on your shirt).

I use Oxyclean and it always works. Sometimes it has to go through the wash two or three times, but I have gotten out every set in stain I can think of. Even stuff that has been through the drier repeatedly.
Crystal, do you have fels naptha soap or a similar soap used for making laundry detergent? This works pretty well for stains. Wet the bar and rub in well. Let sit before washing.
If you have Dawn dish liquid that is especially helpful on oily stains I find. I also use it on other stains and it works well. I've even used both together.
Crystal, I recall you were recently reading the tightwad gazette book--she has an awesome stain remover recipe--I know you just soak your clothes in it like over night or something.... I forget the ingredients, but I have done this before and it worked well on stains.
Crystal-how do you link directly to a post. I haven't learned that yet.

Funny, I was thinking of e-mailing you this tip to maybe share today (before I saw your post!).
I had a bunch of set-in stains on some clothing and a BUNCH of baby clothes that had an unknown yellowish substance leak onto and stain them. :(
I have been wetting the area & pouring full-strength clorox color-safe bleach (I use the dye & perfume free one) on the area and let it sit over night. The next day I rinse the spot and then wash the whole item in hot water. Then I line dry it in a sunny spot. For most items the stain is lessened after washing and then the sunlight does the rest. Not everything has come out perfect, but there have been some GREAT improvements. If I have an item that is important to me I sometimes will hang it up on sunny days the whole day for several days until it is gone. One extra special shirt was put out 7-8 times.
I think the main thing is putting things in the sunlight! It is AMAZING how well it works - even on tomato sauce stains, etc. It makes me smile. Just another way God designed creation to be great. ;)

Crystal,
Here's what I do with laundry that's stained.
I make a thick paste of Oxyclean with hot water. Just a few drops of water if you're treating only a small stain or you'll have to use too much Oxy clean.
Spread the paste on the stains. I haven't had a problem with it removing color. But my opinion is if it's so ruined by the stain, it can't really hurt if some color comes out. It was ruined anyway.
Let the Oxy clean paste dry. Then throw the item in the washer.
This usually gets everything out or greatly reduces is.
I also have started a tip I read somewhere, to use 1/2 as much detergent, but add 1 Tb of Dawn. It really helps with the stains too.
One last thing I do;). If I don't want to do the Oxy Paste, I just put a scoop of OxyClean in a big bowl, add hot water and the item. I let it soak for a day or so.
Hope that helps:)

I admit that I have done the same thing with stained clothing. But I have heard that Oxy Clean can get out stains even after you have washed & dried the clothes. I haven't tried it myself, but I know others who love it.
You might try something my mother and I recently came across on a website to remove grape juice stains from our white tablecloths: peroxide! Now, we had not washed the tablecloths after they were stained, but it may be worth a try. I even was able to get red food coloring out of a pair of jeans and shirt just last week (I had not washed them yet), and there was no stain left behind! You apply the peroxide straight to the stain and wait about 5 minutes, then reapply. You continue until the stains start to disappear or fade. My mother has been a homemaker for 27 years, and wishes she had known about this sooner.

P.S. I read your blog regularly, and really enjoy seeing God's faithfulness to you and your family as you give yourself to living a life separate from the world, desiring to love your husband and daughters. You are an inspiration to me, and I look forward to the day when I am a wife and mother, knowing my home and children will not be perfect, but God works through imperfect people to accomplish His perfect will.
Try Oxi-Clean. It works wonders! My sister-in-law gave me baby clothes she had saved for 10 years. They were full of food and formula stains and yet the Oxi-Clean got them sparkling. I use the big tub of powder and follow the directions for soaking. I soaked for 6 hours, stirring ever so often and then I washed as usual. Make sure you dissolve the powder before adding clothes, however, as when I didn't, one outfit got partially bleached. Other than that, Oxi-Clean is very safe and is even recommended for vintage linens.
OxiClean! I almost tossed our entire collection of 0-3 month baby girl clothes due to terrible set in spitup stains (and by set in I mean washed and dried many times, then stored in plastic tubs for two years) - I mean NOTHING would get them out, and I had tried all the natural remedies like Cascade+Borax etc. I soaked them for 24 hours in OxiClean mixed with water and the clothes look NEW. I was pretty shocked that it worked, but it did.
the tightwad gazette has a great recipe that several have said saved garage sale clothing, my volumes are packed..but maybe you have the books, or someone could post it for you

Just use the shout on the stains and then rewash. I have done this with quite a bit of success. I works best if you leave the item alone for a few days before you wash, so the shout has time to soak in. If that doesn't work, try Fels Naptha soap-wet the bar, rub it in the stain and then wash.
Good Luck!

Oh, I wish I could help you, but I have the SAME set-in-stains problem. I'm actually in the process of writing a poem to lament my laundry woes! I'll check back to see if anyone can help us out!
Melaleuca's Sol-U-Mel. It works for me. I dilute it in a water bottle, or for really tough stains, undiluted. Spray on, scrub, let sit, and wash in your regular detergent. I really think this stuff works miracles...ps...I have four little girls ages 5 and under...and we have some really tough stains!! I love to be able to pass down the clothes that we've invested in too! Blessings, Becky
Hi Crystal,
I really enjoy frugal friday! It's a highlight in my homemaking during the week. I hope I followed the rules? I put what was at the top in my address area for my post...
Stains - I haven't had much luck with them once they've been run through the dryer and sometimes even hot water. I do like the Dollar Stores oxygen spray stain remover. It's great for blueberries, sauce etc. I have also used Dawn dish soap on oil stains even after they have been through the dryer. It gets it pretty close to out.
For set-in stains I rely on Shout Advanced Gel--it's the only thing that I have found that really works. I spray it on the stain and let it soak in for at least a day before I wash it. Hope this helps!
I'm with the dawn group, it's gotten makeup out of a white shirt that had been washed and dried several times. sometimes just putting the dawn on there and rubbing the clothes together, some times I have to do that and then soak it in water overnight. Hope you find something that works.
Dawn works great for grease based stains. I keep a bottle at the washer. :o)
Another tip for a different stain situation is peroxide on blood stains.
I'm checking "Haley's Hints" before I go to bed tonight.
OxyClean Laundry Stain remover in the blue bottle. Works wonderfully every time!
Thanks for asking this Crystal. I'm sorry I don't have any tips on this issue but I'm all ears for what everyone else has to say! I really need help in this area, too.
Have a great day!
With my two little ones, I soak their stained outfits in Oxyclean overnight. We have a mud sink in our garage. So, I fill it with hot water, put in 1-2 scoops of the powder Oxyclean, mix the powder in the water to be sure it is dissolved. Then I add the clothes one at a time. I then mix all the clothes before going to bed. In the morning, I wring out each item and check to be sure the stains are out. If they are not, I then apply hydrogen peroxide directly to the stains. I then wait about 10 minutes, and then wash the clothes in All Free and Clear detergent on warm/cold in the washer. I then check the clothes before putting them in the dryer. Usually, all the stains are out. It not, I just let the item dry, and then re-treat when I do laundry again.
Hope this helps,
Tracy
Oxiclean works great, but I have found that on some clothes it fades the spot where you spray it (khakis are especially bad about it).
I have had great success with Sol-U-Mel (http://www.melaleuca.com/) and Carbona stain soap bars.
I have used Amway products since my girls were little (they are 18 & 21 now), and have had great success with their liquid Pre-wash. For stubborn stains, I will wet the area with the pre-wash, sprinkle on some of their All Fabric Bleach, and put on a bit more Pre-wash.
Although I didn't comment when you asked, I think the Amway laundry detergent might help with your cold water washing dilemma, too. It worked for us, and my oldest was formula fed (breastfeeding didn't work, despite my best efforts) and was a terrible spitter. I don't recall having to get rid of clothes because they wouldn't come clean. (The other advantage is that the detergent is fragrance free!)
I've tried just about every product (or combination of products) there is for stain treatment and the only thing I've found that works is something I saw just recently on a "Works-for-me-Wednesday" post on Rocks in My Dryer.
Five gallon bucket full of water as hot as you can get it. One cup of powdered dishwashing detergent (I believe they said Cascade, so that's what I bought). One cup of powdered, color-safe bleach. Mix, dump the clothes in, and let them sit overnight, then wash like normal.
I've not tried this yet with stains that have been through the drier, but I had a white dishtowel that mopped up some red liquid (I don't remember what it was, but it was fruit punch Kool-Aid red) and then sat in the laundry waiting for washing for a couple of weeks (don't ask). It didn't even have to sit overnight in the stain remover, just a couple of hours pulled _all_ of the red out. You would never know that this white dish towel had ever been anything but white.
I have a bar of something called "Hogwash" that got marker out of one of my boys shirts recently. I was really impressed by that. I got it at a local craft store, but I googled it and it looks like you can order it online from a bunch of places.
What works great for me is Shout Gel, All Baby Detergent, and Clorox 2. I've been absolutely amazed at what this combination can do! Good luck!
So people will probably think me crazy, but the Ecover stain remover works better than any other stain remover I've ever used, even the beloved oxiclean. I've used it on set stains, and it still got them out. I also like the cool built in brush that helps rub it in. Here's a link to the website.
http://www.ecover.com/us/en/Products/Laundry/Stain+Remover.htm
I have recently discovered my favorite stain remover, Soilove. It's available out west I think & also on the website www.soapsgonebuy.com I'd been meaning to try Soilove forever but just won a case of it in a giveaway. I love it! It does take out most washed/dried stains, especially organic stains (blood, spitup, food, etc).
If some of the clothes are white, use a Clorox pen. I hate using bleach in my wash, for fear I will end up bleaching/ruining other clothes by accident, but I like my little Clorox Bleach pen for small stains on white clothes.
Another Oxiclean gal here. I have found that the regular one works MUCH better than the other ones. Like others, I just make it strong and then let it sit. As a matter of fact, I just did a batch of stained items. very much set in stains, but I could see them disappearing before I ever put them in the wash. Oh, which reminds me, if the stains haven't pretty much gone away before I wash the clothes, then they usually don't go fully away. I have best results mixing a big scoop into a small glass of water and then using the froth on the stains. Just hte water with the oxi in it doesn't seem to be quite strong enough.
Good luck!
Oh! And becaefurl...there are a few fabrics (ca't think of them off hand) that if you let it sit too long, the oxi will leave it's own stain. This has been very rare for me, but has happened.
We use 1 cup Cascade powder detergent + 1 cup powdered color-safe bleach. Dissolve in hotwater. Add clothes and let them sit for up to a week. Wash, and voila! (And this is coming from someone who only notices stains once they're set in...as embarrassing as that is to admit).
Crystal, I forgot to add but letting the items soak in hot water after being treated (for as long as possible) really helps me.
I believe the TWG recipe others are speaking of is 1 cup Clorox 2 and 1 cup of powdered Cascade (yes, the dishwasher stuff) and then let soak overnight in hot water (do in a bucket or container).
Set it is hard, especially dirt or chocolate, I have been using dish soap. I was buying an oxi stain remover at Aldi, that seemed to work. I've also been adding borax to the load of wash.
Hi- I know we are all busy, but I don't understand how to link the post correctly. When I post it- in the address area at the top it says www.4sweetsisters.blogspt.com/ so that's what i've been linking. I tried clicking on labels but it will bring up all under that heading. Of course the last post 1st. I've looked at other peoples blogs and I have no clue how they're getting all the extra stuff on the end of there address?
If anyone reads this could you please help. I keep getting bumped off and don't understand why?
Blessings,Julie
I haven't tried oxiclean (though I think I might after all these comments!), but my mom found Zout to get out several set-in stains that we'd long given up on. Personally, I use a bar of laundry soap that I brought home when I was living in Africa. It gets out everything. I just googled images of Fels Naptha soap and it looks just like that. Maybe it's the same thing. I also find soaking helps a lot too, as others have suggested.
I hate this too. I'm not great at pre-treating, and I have a little obsession with Gymboree clothes. It is really frustrating to see stains on that stuff when it comes out of the dryer!!
So far I've had the best luck soaking with OxyClean. I have the big tub of it, and I put half a scoop in with a gallon of water in a big glass bowl. I'll put 2-3 items in and let them soak, usually for about a day.
This hasn't removed EVERYTHING but it has done a pretty good job. I imagine that if I keep at it, the stains that didn't come out the first time will still come out eventually.
Also, I make sure that with all the items I've soaked in OxyClean, I put them up to air dry after they go through the washer. That way I don't set in the stain more in the dryer if I happen to miss that some of it is still there (they are easier to miss when the clothes are wet!).
Oxiclean! I work for a catering company and we wear white tuxedo shirts, and I seem to spill something on it every time I work. Oxiclean has gotten out chocolate, tomato sauce, red wine, etc. Also, just soaking the clothes in plain water overnight can work too, but oxiclean gives it that extra stain-fighting boost.
Folex and Goo Gone are good to have on hand.
Super stain remover:
Mix 1/2 c. clorox 2 (I also like it for pretreating...much better than Shout) with 1/2 c. cascade. Add 2 gal. hot, hot, hot tap water. Soak overnight. Drain off solution and wash as usual.
Works like a charm.
I have gotten set in chocolate stains out with plain old bar soap - it is my new favorite stain remover! Thanks mom - I wish I'd thought to ask you earlier. I use pure and natural (which Dollar Tree used to carry 3 bars for $1.) They may have discontinued it though. I've also tried Dial for sensitive skin (which worked) and Ivory (which didn't work as well). You can only use it on cotton clothes, but most kids clothes are cotton. If that doesn't work, I'll use the oxyclean paste method mentioned by others. I try to stain treat the night before, and that appears to help. By the time I'm that desperate, I don't care if the stain treatment ruins the clothes, because they are pretty much ruined anyway. I think I've only "ruined" something once with the oxyclean method. I rarely have clothes with stains I can't get out anymore. I always check to see if they came out and if not, try to hang them dry. Sometimes with the soap method, the stains will still be there, but then disappear after they dry.
Here is a recipe I use for our stains and it always works for us:
In a 16 oz squirt bottle, mix 1/4 cup clear dishwashng liquid (not soap) with 1/4 cup glycerin, then add 1.5 cups water. Spray, scrub, if needed, and let soak a couple of hours.
Glycerin can be purchased at a drug store.(I have some on hand if you need it).
Hope this helps,
Dana
I love Shout Spray! It’s saved so many of our clothes! I try to remember to check items that had stains before putting them in the dryer. If they still have a stain, I spray and wash again.
If a stain does get set in, the first thing I do is spray with Shout, let it sit for a while, and then wash again. Do this at least a couple times. Sometimes, I’ll notice the stain has lessened, and then I’ll keep repeating until no progress is being made.
Another intermediary step is to soak in color safe bleach and baking soda, but this almost never works for me if repeated Shouting hasn't. Stains get stubborn if you set them with the dryer.
If there is a set-in stain, and I can’t get it out, and it’s something that would prevent me from keep the item, I try bleaching. Yes, even items with color. Just dribble a little on the stains and watch a few mintues. I’ve been surprised at times at what will hold its color. I’ve saved a red checked dress, a light aquamarine jumper that was covered with dirt stains on the front, a bright pink and white polka dot top, etc. All of those showed no fading at all, except for the stains! Woven seems to be more likely to make it than knit, but the polka dot top was knit. Also, any area that’s white with colored embroidery, usually the thread will hold its color so that you can spot bleach the white.
I also agree on using a dish detergent on oily stains. vinegar will get out ketchup stains. :D Not sure on deoderant stains. I usually use Oxiclean as well and sometimes have to repeat process.
I use Dawn on stains. Squirt some on, and let it sit for a day. Oxyclean in the whole load helps. Also, don't give up! It may take several washings to get the stains out.

Use Oxiclean! I love it!
It may not be your biggest problem stain right now, but for ink stains: (I homeschool my 3 boys- and my husband gets alot of ink stains on his pants)
I use cheap old hairspray. I try to get it before we wash and dry the item as it works easily that way. You can actually see the stain disolve as you spray it on.
On our other stains I use Zout and I add borax to every load of laundry as a stain booster.
God bless
Suzanne :)
i don't have any tips that haven't been listed yet, but it would be *wonderful* if you consolidated these comments and made a post out of it! it seems oxyclean is very popular, but i'd like to see what others have several people list them :D
have a fabulous weekend! thanks!
I didn't read through the comments, but I heard this one a while ago. 1 cup cascade dishwashing detergent and 1 cup borax in water, let it soak then wash. My sister has used it on baby stains, even pre-washed ones, and my mom used it when she got a big stain of red food coloring on white pants. Apparently it works very well (If you have those on hand...)
K
I don't know what I am doing wrong but I have zero luck with Oxyclean- it doesn't touch any stains for me :( (mostly food stains on color clothes)
I have had great results using Biokleen's "All-Purpose Cleaner" product as a stain remover. It is very concentrated. I mix up a little bit with water in a spray bottle (according to instructions on the bottle).
It has even gotten grease stains out!
Blessings,
Michele :)

Oops sorry. My first link post didn't go to the right page.
No advice on the stain remover either but would love to know when you find that works!!!
I agree with all the Oxyclean advice - I have soaked shirts in the washing machine for 3 days (by accident) and they were so white it was awesome! Now my husband has me do it to his shirts every few months. We haven't noticed it decreasing the life of the shirt at all.
I also love the SprayNWash stick. It gets out dried in grass stains - and more - just rub it on and leave a couple days.
I've found two ways of getting out set in stains.
First, Oxiclean works wonders. For really bad stains, I've let them sit in Oxiclean for about a half an hour. For things that have gone through the dryer, it may take two or three times going through an overnight soak (depending on how much I've neglected the laundry), but the stains have always come out.
Second, the stain recipe Amy Dacyczyn (Tightwad Gazette) uses has worked very well for me. It's one cup each of Cascade (I've used generic on occasion) and Clorox II to five gallons of "the hottest water to come out of your faucet". Soak overnight and wash as usual.
She says this takes out 90% of stains that don't come out with the usual washing. She also says she doesn't use this recipe for delicate fabrics or fabrics that aren't color fast. I've used this on delicates myself and I think it depends on the item. Mine came out okay but I would think hard before taking the risk again.
Hope that helps.
Like the others, I use Oxi Clean and Shout, but I recently discovered Charlie's Soap All Purpose cleaner. It works great! Spray it on, let it soak in, scrub it with a brush, and then wash. I also use Charlie's Soap detergent. Both products are natural. I buy them at Whole Foods, but you can also buy them online at http://www.charliesoap.com/index.asp. (Whole Foods sells the 80 load bag of powder detergent for $8.99, so that's why I just buy it and the all-purpose cleaner there. It's cheaper.)
I love their products because not only are they natural, but they are also inexpensive. Oh, and I hear that Charlie's Soap is great for cloth diapers.
I agree with most of the comments...OxiClean works MIRACLES for me :) All my son's clothes, diapers, slipcovers...everything and really no matter what the stain, it comes out..even if its set for days even weeks (trust me, I know....I have a white couch and a 21 month old) :) I find if you take a bit of the oxiclean and rub it into the stain and then let it soak (i usually let it soak overnight) it is cleaner than ever!
Here's a cheap fix that works on set-in grease stains - plain old dishwashing soap like Palmolive. Apply some over the set-in grease stain and leave for 10 minutes. Then, wash as normal. I've been doing this for several years on all types of clothing (even silk) and it's worked every time.
I think this is the first time I've joined in. I posted a recipe for making your own simple and effective all natural deodorant. Enjoy!
I have used baking soda & vinagar scrub w/a brush. Don't dry in dryer till it comes out. I have also used dawn dish soap.
I agree with the Oxiclean comments! I mix oxiclean with HOT water (as your clothes will tolerate)and soak the item(s) for a few hours or overnight depending on the severity of the stain.
This has transformed kids and baby clothes to take to resale shops and earn extra money!
Kelly
I forgot to add...
I love Shout too and use it daily! I use oxiclean for those tough stains or the ones I forgot to pre-treat.
Kelly
I don't pretreat anything anymore. Soak it overnight in oxyclean and anything will come out.
The only thing I have had to really work to get out was grill grease/ash that got on to my husbands work pants. That was before I discovered Oxyclean, so I don't know if that would have worked. Soaking his pants in some water/Wisk...and then washing them in Wisk did the trick. I found this solution online, but I don't remember where.
I see Dawn on a few responses already. My grandmother, who used to work for a laundry-mat, always uses it. It works great!!!!
Ok, here is a tried and true solution that will get out any stain including red nail polish, wine, grape juice, and anything else your kids can throw on the white carpet (or in this case clothing): mix a couple of squirts of Dawn with a few ounces of peroxide. It works like a magic eraser. Good luck!
I have found that Baby Oxy Clean (sold in a spray bottle at BRU) works on anything - including set in stains. Good luck!
I buy clothes for our five kids at at Goodwill outlet where things are sold by the pound. I often find great clothes that are stained and have been able to get almost everything out by soaking it in oxyclean for about 24 hours. Rubbing alcohol works great for ink stains. Avoid buying knits with lycra in them for kiddos as they really hang on to stains. Cotton is the best. I also always hang the girls light colored dresses and tops as if I miss a stain it won't get set in the dryer and I can get to it when it's washed again.
Jen
They actually sell Oxiclean Baby now. It's a little gentler but let me tell you, it gets the stains out! Nathan was a big-time "puker" when he was younger and it got out every formula and baby stain, including the carrots and sweet potatoes! It even got set-in stains out. It's all I'll use now for tough stains. (I use Dreft spray for the minor ones.)
Good luck getting your stains out!
Oxiclean laundry stain remover in a blue spray bottle get's nearly everything out. My mom was in the hospital and they spilled her blood all over her white shirt. 2 weeks later it got washed (pretreated with above poduct)...NO blood!
*Note...after spraying on the stain, rub it into the stain to activate it.
cascade added to your wash works wonders and the spray and wash stain stick gets out nearly everything!
Ok Crystal, I can't get them out for you now but I can help you possibly use them. You can dye the fabric, or cover stains with nice little iron ons or cut them up and rework them into new outfits.
Hope this helps...
Many Blessings :)

What a wonderful site!
My frugal tipe is to find free samples of products you can use around the house. Many of the samples, especially cleaners and such, last for a while.
I post all of these free samples I find on my blog @ www.freebeezndealz.com
For set-in stains, oxiclean works...if not the first time, then rub some in with a toothbrush. This gets all of my baby stains out. But Oxi Clean is not cheap! So I would love to know what you do, Crystal!
I also use Oxiclean, but let me warn you, if you make a paste, don't leave it on the material too long (like days). I did this once with a t-shirt, and it bleached out the color and eventually little holes started where I left the Oxiclean. But...I used a thick paste and left it there for at least a week. The stains are gone now, but the shirt has been moved to a 'yard shirt' pile.
Crystal,
I just recently found your site, and I love it!
I got this from a friend who was trying to get OLD (3 years old!!) spit-up stains out of baby clothes for her newborn. Her mom owns a used kids' clothing store. She originally called a spit-up stain remover, but I think it would work for other stains as well:
1 Cup Clorox 2 (the color-safe kind)
1 Cup powdered Cascade (automatic dishwasher soap)
5 gallons of the hottest water to come out of your tap
Soak clothes (in the bathtub, or in a large bucket) in solution overnight
Wash according to label instructions
Repeat if necessary
(My friend said she had to wash some items twice to get the stains completely out.)
I hope this is helpful…

I use an old product called Biz for set-in stains. Use recommended amount on box mixed with hot water and let soak over night. Removes the worse stains. This product may be hard to find. We can only get it here at Walmart.
I also have good luck with an Amway product called LOC.
Lay them out in direct sunlight. It is amazing what will come out! My grandma taught me this from her days with cloth diapers.
I use Biz Bleach. You can soak your items overnight in a bucket and then wash the next day.
For severe stains do the Biz Boil. I did this w/ a pair of jeans w/ terrible ink stains that I thought were ruined and the jeans came out perfect.
Directions: Put a huge pot of water on the stove and begin heating. Add 3/4 cup biz and stir to dissolve and bring to a boil. Add your clothes and simmer for 45minutes to an hour. Let cool and then wash as usual.
If you want to try this product, there's a $2.50 coupon on www.afullcup.com Just do a search for it on their website.
Hope this helps!
Michelle
I have never had a stain that didn't come out (except bleach) even after washing items several times. I cake oxi clean powder on the stain and make it a paste then soak it for at least 24-48 hours. The stain should be gone by the time you even throw it in the wash.
